We at Stacks Sports condemn the acts of violence and racism that have ensued in our nation for far too long. There is a lot of pain, frustration, and fear that is being felt right now, especially among our black communities that have suffered the greatest harm. We stand in solidarity with the black community and are committed to being a part of the solution.

We want to be clear, we are 100% against racism and unequal treatment of any individuals, period.

We recognize that we cannot solve these problems today and that there is a lot of work to be done, including addressing the societal and systemic issues that stand in the way of creating a more inclusive, just, and compassionate society.

We also recognize that this starts with all of us at home, in the workplace, in schools, in places of worship, and in sports.

There is strength in diversity, and we are proud that we have people from all different backgrounds on our team, and we are fortunate to be able to serve an incredibly diverse set of partners with empathy and respect.

We remain committed to making positive changes within our organization to create a more inclusive, just, and compassionate culture, inside of Stack Sports and beyond.

In response, we are taking the first step by empowering our employees to:

Listen – Everyone is unique. We will embrace our differences and respect each other’s point of view. We will create a space where honest, meaningful, and sometimes difficult conversations can occur and where people can have time to process what they have heard. Above all else when conversations of race and diversity are had, we will listen with our hearts.

Learn – Education is powerful. We encourage our team to do their homework and learn from the lessons of the past. We will be offering resources and a place for people to learn more about the Black Lives Matter movement and other movements that encourage equality for all.

Stand – Silence is not an option. We are creating a culture that makes a commitment to call out injustice when we see it and gives a voice to those who experience it.

Vote – Give time for employees to vote. Our local and state officials have the greatest impact on the local criminal justice system and police practices. Hold elected officials accountable.

Stay Engaged – This moment is not a singular incident and will not be solved with a singular solution. We will encourage our teams to keep learning and questioning. We will create a place to share knowledge and tell others how they can help.

We recognize that as a society and as a company, we still have much more work to do. We know that we can, and must, do better.

As always, we appreciate your partnership.

Sincerely,

Your Stack Sports Team
